World of tanks is a MMO where as you already might have guessed by the name the main focus is on tank warfare... The game is set in the WWII era and also includes some minor RPG elements. Like in all MMO's you start off with a "starter" tank, which isn't really that great, but still gets the job done. You can choose from 4 tech trees to advance in. You can choose between the germans, the french, the americans and the russians. 

On the battlefield are 30 tanks, 15 are signed to each team, no matter how good you are and how high your level, server dedicates players with similar experience-So if in your team you have like 4 tanks of level 3, your enemies will have the same. It's balanced pretty good, but when you buy a better tank you'll probably play with other players that also have better or same level tanks. 

When you're done with the match, you earn experience and some silver coins, which you can spend on the research for better equipment. It's great that it's pretty realistic, enemies can imobilize you by damaging your engine, you can catch on fire and you even have to repair the tank when the battle is over. But do not worry, it isn't that expensive at first and you don't have to bother with it-there is an option that you can click that auto-repairs your tank and reloads your ammunition after every battle. The cool thing is that you have various different shells (ammunition)-High explosive and armor penetration. It's also interesting that you have a human crew, which gains levels-and on level up you can assign them different skills.

Otherwise the game is quite great. When you die in game you do not have to wait for the battle to be finished, you can exit it and you'll still recieve coins and xp. That gives you more time to farm on coins and xp with other tanks.
